To put it simply, I am freshly engaged and elbow deep in wedding planning. As a recent transplant back to my lovely home state of Michigan from the big city of Chicago, I have been adjusting back to the slower pace of a non-city life again. I work in higher education and have a wonderful fiance who is a traveling man (for work of course...he isn't a hobo, I promise). We have a fluffy little pup that brightens our days and a wonderful new house that (gladly) occupies every second of our "free time".
My goal is to try and find the perfect balance between all the things going on in my life...and yes, some days that seems impossible...but I continue to try and get as close to that as I can!
